Juniper is a Swedish design company, producing premium home essentials - inspired by a luxury boutique hotel world. Their product assortment consists of bed linens, towels and home fragrances.

During my design internship at Juniper, I led and designed this upcoming product. My job also included sourcing a factory in France, managing the communication with them and deliver a tech- drawing for the production of the container, which was based on my cad model.

Development
We have been inspired by snow chains on car tires to highlight the practicality and make it part of the expression. Our anti-slip protection is, like classic crampons, adapted for the urban environment. They require less strength/ effort to be put on, take up little space, and are easy to clean.
Our design of the crampons is focused on exchanging as much plastic as possible for stainless steel, a degradable and recyclable material. The drawstring is made out of a strong elastic band with a toggle and can fit multiple shoes.
